You will lead performance improvement strategies across our operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring the success of your direct reports. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise by supporting the implementation of the Simpro job management system and establishing robust processes that will drive long-term success. Key Responsibilities Project Management: Lead end-to-end project execution, managing budgets, resources, risks, and client relationships Contract Management: Negotiate, oversee, and administer contracts, ensuring compliance and resolving disputes Team Leadership & Performance Management: Guide and mentor a team of direct reports, aligning their goals with company objectives and fostering a collaborative environment Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and promote a culture of safety across all project activities. Team Culture: Promote a positive and engaging workplace culture System Implementation: Play a crucial role in the rollout of the Simpro job management system, ensuring smooth integration and user adoption Process Improvement: Develop and implement robust processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Required Experience & Skills Qualification in project management; a trade qualification would be beneficial 3+ years of project management experience within the construction industry Knowledge of plumbing, drain laying, and earthworks construction methods and materials is desired Proficiency in project management software (Simpro and Groundplan experience is a plus) Familiarity with New Zealand construction regulations and standards Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Experience leading a team of direct reports Ability to manage multiple projects independently and to plan, track, and manage delivery deadlines and budgets Join Us At Northland Plumbing & Gas Ltd, we value integrity, collaboration, and professionalism.
