Job Description KEY OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Financial Helps meet the department's targets by following the preparation instructions as per SOPs and using the right doses, by avoiding waste and loss of merchandise, and by respecting the hotel's procedures and internal audit processes. Manages billing and cash operations for the services sold. Is responsible for the bar's cash (floating cash) and cash transactions. Operational Provides a friendly and personal welcome for guests and is constantly attentive to their needs. Ensures that pre-service requisites are met and the "Bar Opening Procedure Checklist" is completed. Ensures the bar areas are maintained in a clean and orderly manner at all times with regards to standards and hygiene. Serves drinks to customers in a friendly and helpful manner and with a smile, bearing reference to service policies and procedures. Ensures all products are served according to Outlet/Hotel standards. Maintains product quality by checking beer pipes, cordials, juices, etc. Keeps track of wines, beers, liquors, and other supplies, maintaining par stocks and requisitions according to business needs. Promotes the bar offer and helps create a good atmosphere. Has a general awareness of Health and Safety in relation to all tasks and activities undertaken in the department. Business Plan / Analysis Stock rotation (FIFO system of inventory management). Promotes the bar's special offers, cocktails, and full range of products, and increases bar revenue through additional sales techniques. Helps manage stocks and inventories. Is responsive and helpful with regard to out-of-menu items, such as classic cocktails, and expands personal knowledge in this area as much as possible. #J-18808-Ljbffr
