We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef to join our team and uphold the high standards we are known for.Position Overview:We are looking for a number of skilled Chef with at least 3 years of professional kitchen experience or a Level 4 cookery qualification. The ideal candidate will be a leader with a strong background in culinary arts and kitchen management, committed to delivering outstanding food and maintaining top-notch operationalstandards.Key Responsibilities:ï· Menu Management: Regularly update menus with a focus on seasonal availability and ensure all menus are costed and priced to achieve required gross profit.ï· Staff Training: Train all kitchen staff to ensure proper portion control andpleasing presentation of dishes.ï· Kitchen Operations: Hold regular meetings with key kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations and address food preparation issues.ï· Hygiene and Safety: Ensure that all areas under your control meet stringent hygiene requirements and that staff who are ill or injured receive appropriate treatment.ï· Staff Appearance: Ensure all staff are correctly dressed in compliance with statutory requirements and contribute to the establishment’s image.ï· Stock Management: Order stock in correct quantities, quality, and price, and ensure all stocks are stored securely and under the correct conditions.ï· Equipment Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance checks onequipment to minimize breakdowns.ï· Continuous Improvement: Regularly update your knowledge and skills to benefit the establishment.
