We have over 1,300 people throughout the world, protecting our customers with products which are made right here in New Zealand.The OpportunityWe are looking for a passionate and collaborative full-stack Senior Software Engineer to join our ARW squad with Gallagher Security.In this newly created role, you’ll collaborate with an agile team to develop specialized security solutions, maintain existing code, and ensure high-quality software performance. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to innovative designs that meet functional and quality requirements, playing a leading role in developing and enhancing our industry leading security solutions.The FitYou’re an experienced, senior level full-stack developer with at least 5 years’ experience in commercial development, proficient in C++, C#, and SQL. You thrive in collaborative settings and are committed to delivering clean, maintainable code. To succeed in this role, you’ll also need:Proficiency with .Net Core, C#, ASP.NET Core (or equivalent stack on other platform, e.g. Spring), Web Services, REST APIsSound knowledge of writing applications for containerized environments, i.e. Docker, KubernetesExcellent knowledge of SQL databases – PostgreSQL, SQL Server or similarExperience working in an Agile software development environment is a mustExperience with security aspects of web development, including OWASP, CORS policy, etc.Sound knowledge of cloud application development best practicesExcellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.A collaborative spirit and a commitment to quality.Why Gallagher?At Gallagher, we foster a supportive and family-friendly work environment, where collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement are at the forefront of everything we do.
