**The Opportunity**

At Farmote, we’re revolutionizing agriculture with cutting-edge technology. We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to play a leading role in building and scaling our backend systems to support a rapidly growing user base.

You’ll design and lead the creation of scalable, reliable backend systems, lead the development of software components, drive technical design and partner with our internal team and key technology partners to achieve project goals.

This is a senior level role, suitable for an experienced Software Engineer with strong technical + problem-solving skills, the ability to solve problems independently and a knack for working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

**The Fit**

To succeed in this role, you’ll be a highly organized, forward-thinking professional who operates one step ahead to anticipate opportunities and challenges.

You will have specialization in Architectural Patterns, Web Servers and/or Automated Software Testing.

You will also need:

- 5+ years of backend development experience.
- Expertise in architectural patterns, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), REST APIs, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in C#, Java, and database management (Postgres, MySQL).
- Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.
