We have a fixed term part-time position available working 48 hours per fortnight (0.6 FTE) Monday to Friday, with actual days and hours to be mutually agreed. The reason for the fixed term is to provide parental leave cover. This role involves working closely alongside the Diabetes CNS and clinical specialty nurses to assist in the collaboration and coordination of the delivery of specialist nursing care for patients who require complex diabetes management and support. You will help provide assessment, support, assistance with treatment and follow-up for these patients/clients in the community setting. Mou - About youThe successful applicant will be: A Registered Nurse with a minimum of two years' experience who has a proven interest in diabetes nursing. A current Annual Practising Certificate with New Zealand Nursing Council. At a minimum hold a current competent (PDRP) Professional Development and Recognition Programme. Enthusiastic, motivated and wanting to succeed in a challenging environment. Hold a post graduate qualification or be working towards one.
