The hospital consists of ten digital operating theatres and features robotic technology with a highly experienced robotic team, advanced digital scanning technologies, and consulting facilities onsite.The hospital provides a first-class preadmission service, admissions services, day surgery, three inpatient wards including a high dependency area.The hospital offers a wide range of elective surgical services including Orthopaedic, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, oral and Facial Maxillary, Urology, Otolaryngology (ENT), Plastic & Reconstructive, Bariatric, General, and Endoscopic surgery. The hospital employs over 350 highly skilled and trained staff to ensure patients receive high quality care.Mo te Turanga | About the RoleSouthern Cross Healthcare is seeking a Building Services Coordinator to assist the Facilities Manager with the day-to-day operations of our hospital facilities. This role is crucial in maintaining the functionality of hospital plant systems, including boilers, chillers, pumps, medical gases and lighting. The Building Services Coordinator will work closely with the Christchurch Facilities Team, external contractors, oversee preventive maintenance, and ensure a safe, compliant environment.The ideal candidate will have a background in facilities management and building services, with strong technical and coordination skills.
