Are you passionate about cyber security and ready to play a critical role in protecting key business channels? My client is on the lookout for an experienced Azure Security Engineer (Level 2) to join their dynamic team. Working closely with the Senior IT Manager, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring the security infrastructure meets ISO27001 standards and compliance controls.

Key Responsibilities:Ensure all platforms align with ISO27001 security requirements and maintain compliance.Collaborate with project teams to translate business requirements into measurable security outcomes and controls.Provide first-level support for user requests and escalate to MSP support as needed.Proactively detect, analyze, and respond to cyber security incidents affecting infrastructure and networks.Work with internal teams to develop and implement effective remediation and response plans to mitigate threats.Conduct regular threat hunting activities, staying updated on emerging security trends and technologies.Produce reports on security incidents, vulnerabilities, and remediation efforts to keep stakeholders informed and ensure compliance with internal policies.You will work with:Vanta and/or Microsoft Compliance ManagerMicrosoft Defender (Endpoint Security)Fortinet (Firewalls IPS/IDS technology)Email Protection and Data Loss Prevention toolsTo succeed in this role, you'll need:Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with cyber security infrastructure products (proxies, firewalls, endpoint security, vulnerability management).Experience installing, configuring, managing, troubleshooting, and patching Windows-based security tools.A problem-solving mindset with the ability to use critical thinking, knowledge, and data to drive better outcomes.Strong risk management skills to develop sustainable solutions that protect customers and stakeholders.Excellent soft skills, high standards of written and verbal communication, and the ability to work effectively with teams.A team player mentality—valuing diverse perspectives and working toward shared success.Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to manage through uncertainty and change.If you're a proactive, detail-oriented professional ready to enhance security measures and contribute to a high-performing team, we'd love to hear from you
