Our award-winning gardens are the pride and joy of all residents and their families. This is a unique opportunity to join a small dedicated team of industry professionals. We are seeking a full-time Gardener to join our committed team. This is a hands-on role suitable for someone who has a passion for gardening with extensive knowledge and experience. The role is focused on ensuring our Village grounds and gardens are maintained and immaculately presented, creating a peaceful and tranquil garden for our residents to enjoy. Key Responsibilities:Demonstrated ability in general gardening duties.Experience in grounds management and upkeep; seasonal planting and propagating of shrubs and plants; irrigation and drainage including setting timers; knowledge of growing vegetables as well as the pruning and maintenance of trees and shrubs.Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.Hands-on experience in resolving gardening issues with logic & common sense.Strong interpersonal skills that enhance the experience of our residents, visitors, and the wider team.A real people-person who is compassionate towards the elderly and able to create a positive experience in the outdoor environment for residents, families, and visitors.An honest and reliable person with an attention to detail.Minimum Requirements:Applicants must hold a New Zealand Drivers Licence, be able to pass a New Zealand Police Vetting application and should have valid New Zealand work rights.Your application will include the following questions:How many years' experience do you have as a gardener?Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?Do you have a current New Zealand driver's licence?How many years' experience do you have as a grounds keeper? #J-18808-Ljbffr
