This is an exciting time for the business as we delve into a new way to serve our customers and allow them a seamless and enjoyable experience with SkyCity.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to take the lead on a high-profile project, focusing initially on the implementation of the kiosks for Carded play (CP) 'the only way to play'. Along with technical complexities, this role brings the challenge of juggling the many key milestones along the way ensuring a smooth transition to go-live. Following the initial project in Auckland, the project will roll out to our other site across the SkyCity Entertainment Group.

As a visible leader within the team, you will manage stakeholders, vendors, and partners while ensuring timely and effective project execution. You will be hands-on in resolving challenges, fostering collaboration, and driving a positive project culture. Your expertise in implementation and strong communication skills will be essential in this fast-paced and critical role.

You are a seasoned project leader with a strong background in delivering high-complexity implementations in large organisations. With a customer-centric mindset, you excel at stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and financial planning. You are adaptable and thrive in dynamic environments, driving your team towards successful outcomes while maintaining a positive, collaborative atmosphere.

To be successful, you'll bring:

  1. Proven track record as a Project Manager, Delivery Lead, or similar in complex projects with a budget of over $1M,
  2. 5+ years' experience leading major delivery programs,
  3. Strong expertise in system implementations with multiple vendors,
  4. Exceptional senior stakeholder management, influencing, and negotiation skills,
  5. Deep experience in ADO or similar project management tools,
  6. Excellent financial planning, forecasting, and budget tracking skills,
  7. A collaborative approach with a "no heroes" mindset, driving team-based solutions,
  8. Ability to escalate and resolve issues within tight timeframes,
  9. High level of commercial acumen and outcome-focused thinking.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of a critical project (CP) that enable business transformation. Your leadership in implementing complex systems and driving successful project delivery will ensure this project is completed efficiently and effectively. You'll play a key role in shaping the future of SkyCity while guiding your stakeholders to accomplish together.
