We are looking for a procurement manager to lead innovative and enhanced procurement within the health industry. The role:

  • Lead, nurture and develop a team of procurement professionals
  • Monitor and coach team performance to ensure desired outcomes are achieved
  • Oversee and manage consistent procurement processes and activities.
  • Foster strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain strong connections with the wider procurement team
  • Provide direction to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Cultivate best practice and continuous improvement initiatives

You will have:

  • Strong leadership skills, experience in leading procurement teams
  • 10+ years with hands-on experience in procurement
  • Experience within the health sector is advantageous
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain high-level stakeholder relationships
  • Success in driving organisational change and executing strategies
  • Applied knowledge in New Zealand Government Procurement Rules
  • Knowledge and experience with the use of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
