Expressions of interest are invited from suitably qualified and experienced Senior Medical Officers for the position of Cardiothoracic Surgeon at Christchurch Public Hospital, New Zealand.It is expected that the successful candidate will perform a wide range of cardiothoracic surgical procedures, including but not limited to coronary artery bypass grafting, heart valve repair/replacement, thoracic aortic surgery, lung surgery, and trauma cover.Christchurch Hospital provides cardiothoracic surgical services to the upper and mid part of the South Island of New Zealand and is a teaching hospital with The University of Otago. Waitaha Canterbury is at the heart of one of the most naturally diverse islands in the world.
