Expressions of interest are invited from suitably qualified and experienced Senior Medical Officers for the position of Cardiothoracic Surgeon at Christchurch Public Hospital, New Zealand.

Christchurch Hospital provides cardiothoracic surgical services to the upper and mid part of the South Island of New Zealand and is a teaching hospital with The University of Otago. Waitaha Canterbury is at the heart of one of the most naturally diverse islands in the world. With accessible hills and coastlines, parks and open spaces this is a region where you can live, swim, surf, ski, mountain bike and much more.

The position is full time contracted position for a minimum of one year, with the possibility of an ongoing role.

Applicants must have a relevant specialist qualification preferably FRACS and vocational registration. International medical graduates should approach Medical Council New Zealand to check ability to practice in New Zealand.
