**Job Description**:
Our friendly and supportive team at Ngakawu are looking for a Sample Prep / Lab Assistant to join them on a casual basis.

The role will involve:

- Preparing samples in accordance with the standard operating procedures in the lab to ensure a high service level is maintained.
- Producing a reasonable number of samples each day to ensure sufficient daily output.
- Analyse samples in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Providing a high standard of customer service
- Ensuring all client demands and reporting deadlines are met.
- Ensure equipment is maintained in good working order and appropriately calibrated.

**Qualifications**:

- Ability to manage time and work under pressure in a busy environment
- Effective timekeeping skills
- Ability to maintain accurate records
- Proven computer skills
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with others in a team environment
- Proven organisational skills
- Current forklift license
