**Job Description**:

- To prepare samples in accordance with the standard operating procedures in the lab to ensure a high service level is maintained
- To produce a reasonable number of samples each day to ensure sufficient daily output
- To analyse samples in accordance with standard operating procedures
- To provide a high standard of customer service
- Ensure all client demands are met as detailed in the various service contracts
- Ensure reporting deadlines are met e.g. trains, CHPP and month end samples
- Ensure equipment is maintained in good working order and appropriately calibrated
- To work with management to maximise business returns whilst minimising exposure and risk for the company
- Ensure all activities are carried out with regard and recognition of Health and Safety requirements and personal safety

Undertake all other relevant work requests relevant to your position

**Qualifications**:

- Ability to manage time and work under pressure in a busy environment
- Effective timekeeping skills
- Ability to maintain accurate records
- Proven computer skills
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with others in a team environment
- Proven organisational skills
- Current forklift license
