**Requirements**:
To be considered for the position, applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

- A minimum of 3 years of related experience, or
- A relevant qualification (at NZ Register Diploma level 4 or higher; overseas qualifications must be equivalent to New Zealand standards), or
- The National Skill Standard Testing Level 1 (Traditional Thai Massage) certification from Thailand.

**Job Descriptions**
- Perform therapeutic massage on the soft tissues of the body, including muscles, tendons, and ligaments, to promote healing and alleviate pain.
- Use a range of massage techniques to enhance sports performance, prevent injuries, and aid in recovery.
- Administer treatments designed to promote deep relaxation, improve circulation, and relieve muscle tension.
- Assess clients’ physical conditions and provide targeted treatment for specific soft tissue dysfunctions, offering rehabilitation advice as necessary.
- Incorporate additional techniques such as acupressure, Shiatsu, and other complementary therapies, including infrared lamps, wet compresses, ice, essential oils, and herbal or mineral treatments, to support recovery.
- Evaluate clients’ case histories and physical conditions, offering guidance on stretching exercises and relaxation techniques to improve mobility and reduce stress.

- This is a full-time and permanent position
- Wage payment is $29.66 per hour, and you will be paid weekly
- Holiday pay and sick leave will be paid according to the law
- You will be working in Christchurch.
- We open from Monday to Friday: 10 am - 6 pm. You will work according to a roaster 5 - 6 days each week with a guarantee of 30 hours (a maximum of 48 hours).

The employer has two shops located at: (1) 41 Nayland Street, Sumner, Christchurch, (2) 43 Nayland Street, Sumner, Christchurch. You will be assigned to work in one of these shops as agreed upon by you and the employer
