Spa Therapist

An exciting opportunity awaits an outstanding Spa Therapist to join the team at the beautiful and modern Moss Spa, within the Sudima Christchurch City complex on Salisbury Street.

We are looking for a passionate and customer focused therapist who is willing to exceed guest’s expectations with memorable spa treatments and service.

This Spa Therapist position (guaranteed 20 hours per week) has an hourly rate of $26 per hour.

**Responsibilities | Ngā haepapa**
- Work flexibly across weekdays, weekends and public holidays
- Deliver a variety of spa services (body treatments, massages, facials, waxing and manicure/pedicure) in a safe and comfortable manner
- Deliver a high level of service to all guests
- Maintain equipment and sample inventory of products
- Ensure client database is kept up to date and is correct
- Keep a clean and stocked room
- Suggest and promote retail products or additional services
- Uphold hygiene standards and follow health and safety regulations

**Requirements**:

- Qualified CIBTAC or ITEC equivalent
- Proven work experience as a Spa therapist
- Passionate about Spa and Luxury Treatments
- Hands on experience in massage techniques, manicures, pedicures, waxing and face/body therapies
- Experience in sales will be considered an asset
- Excellent knowledge of English language
- Communication and customer service skills
- Demonstrated team player with strong communication skills
- Positive attitude
- User level computer skills
- Current valid rights to work in New Zealand
