**About the role**

As a Territory Manager for Selleys, you will be responsible for increasing the market share of Selleys products in the lower South Island by providing a high level of professional service and field representation to our key customers such as Bunnings, Mitre 10, and independently owned hardware, trade and paint specialist within our store network. There is flexibility for this role to based out of Canterbury, Otago or Southland.

This role will be a key advisor and influencer and play a key role in growing our marketshare in the trade space. You will be a self-driven professional with strong communication and relationships skills which will enable you to work closely with our traditional hardware retailers.

**Responsibilities**
- Managing a portfolio of customers, driving sales opportunities and being the face of the brand.
- Building trust and influencing customers by demonstrating sound brand and product and local area market knowledge.
- Executing strategies to create demand and achieve sales targets and KPI’s.
- Managing and planning your time effectively, to maintain your customer visits and call cycles
- Identify & maximize instore product opportunities.

**Skills & Experience**
- Demonstrated ‘on the road’ sales experience in the relevant hardware/ trade sales space, FMCG or similar is preferred.
- Ability to effectively manage customer relationships, build rapport and collaborate with key stakeholders.
- Strong verbal and written communications and a high level of business acumen.
- Thorough understanding of how to use data to drive business outcomes.
- Experience using CRM systems for analysis, reporting and planning is ideal.
