**The Opportunity**

We are currently hiring an **Agile Coach** to work with our delivery engineering squads in Auckland.

As an **Agile Coach**, you will work with one or more cross functional development teams to evolve ways of working, encourage agile thinking, manage timelines, and assist the team to resolve problems. You’ll use your excellent knowledge of agile practices combined with the vision set for delivery in APAC to guide teams to a functional process that they understand and can contribute to. The outcome of which is quality software, delivered on time to happy customers.

**Your success will be reflected by**:

- Lead the scrum team(s) in using Agile methodology and scrum practices
- Improve processes to build metrics to capture team velocity, quality and throughput
- Helping the product owner, project managers, customer success staff and development team to achieve customer satisfaction
- Lead the scrum and development teams in self-organization
- Remove impediments and coach the scrum team on removing impediments
- Help the scrum and development teams to identify and fill in blanks in their process
- Resolve conflicts and issues that occur
- Help the scrum team(s) achieve higher levels of scrum maturity
- Support the product owner, project manager and customer success staff and provide education where needed
- Communicate to customers
- Provide advice to customers on Gentrack delivery and best practices
- Provide advice to leaders, PMs, and customer facing staff
- Work as part of an integrated business team to achieve the best business solutions
- Coach and mentor staff
- Be a positive influential force for best practice
- Be a positive role model

**What we’re looking for**:

- Experience working as a Scrum Master
- 2+ years’ experience working in agile commercial software development
- Understanding of a services business model
- Can do attitude with a growth mindset
- A passion for excellence and a commitment to be the best
- Attention to detail
- Strong and interpersonal skills with ability to resolve conflict
- An open-minded consultative approach
- Ability to give and receive positive and constructive feedback.
- Ability to creatively solve problems
