Our Auckland team is currently seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to become an integral member of our Northern Water Business Group.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Performing all delegated tasks as per the Team Leader, Digital Engineering Lead, and other key project stakeholder’s directive to required standards while observing budgets.
- Assisting in maintaining a high quality of all deliverables produced by the Information Management (BIM/DE) project environment(s).
- Ensuring that quality of documentation produced is of a high accurate standard for its intended use.
- Ensuring knowledge transfer is happening via training/mentoring of staff.
- Presenting ideas for improvement or innovation to the Business Group Leader, Information Management Lead and/or Senior Management in a manner that is supported by evidenced based relevant research.

**What you will bring to the team**:

- Desire to lead by example and develop as high performing professional
- Working knowledge of current Information Management processes, limitations, and emerging delivery methods.
- Expertise in the setup of federated models, which includes updating and publishing models and managing the clash detection process.
- Good technical knowledge of multi-disciplines and their interfaces.
- Good project design coordination resolution skills across multi-disciplines.
- Ability to foresee potential problems and risks. Able to rectify issues and report/escalate to the Project Information Manager as required.
- Sound understanding of project, contractual and modelling requirements.
- Ability to ensure project execution complies with established management plans and project requirements.
- Understanding of client and custom software templates to suit the specific project requirements.
- Sound knowledge of Common Data Environment (CDE) establishment and ongoing information management processes, systems, and information states (BIM360, ProjectWise, 12D Synergy, Viewpoint etc.).
- Sound understanding of Level of Information Need.
- Has a sound understanding of ISO19650 compliant workflows and can lead awareness to others in this area (including Parts 1, 2 and 3).
- Experienced in a variety of technical project related duties and activities.
- Ability to assist/mentor staff in carrying out technical tasks and project activities (junior and senior staff).
- Conduct tasks in a manner which is consistent with GHD Standards.
- Experienced in discipline checking capability to projects as required.
BIM Coordinator - Position Description 3
- Experience with GHD QA systems and procedures.
- Encourage innovation and staff development both technical and soft skills.
- Understanding of asset management integration within a BIM project model environment.
