**About the role**

This is a permanent role working on the Tuesday to Saturday Day Shift in the Starting Materials team of our QC department. Our Quality Control team supports our manufacturing business to ensure all starting materials used in the production of animal pharmaceuticals are tested to meet quality standards for both the local and overseas markets that we provide to. This includes packaging materials and raw ingredients.

This role will also be involved in supporting health and safety initiatives in the lab, ensuring compliance of GMP and championing GLP.

**About you**

We’re looking for an experienced, pro-active team player who is highly capable in the technical aspects of the role and committed to promoting a quality culture within the lab. You will have worked in a similar GMP focused environment for a minimum of 5 years with the relevant tertiary qualification.

**You will also bring to the role the following skills**:

- Sound experience in analytical testing using a variety of instruments/techniques (HPLC, GC, TLC, UV, FTIR, and wet chemistry)
- Understanding of Pharmacopeia testing, with experience testing against the USP and EP
- Commitment to following standard operating procedures
- Maturity to be flexible when working under pressure
- Have a keen eye for detail and a willingness to learn and teach others
- Motivation to speak up and influence continuous improvement ideas
