About the role:
It's an exciting time to join a growing Governance team as we focus on enhancing the delivery of Governance Services to Council and Committees.
Reporting to the Team Leader, Governance, you’ll work on a variety of administrative tasks including record keeping, distributing documents, liaising with public speakers, managing catering requirements, providing technical support and assisting with smooth running of meetings.
This is a varied administrative role with plenty of interaction with all areas of Council. A fabulous way to interact with and learn from a wide range of people and issues.
About you:
You will bring great written and verbal communication skills, absolute discretion and the ability to maintain concentration and composure for lengthy periods.
Your solid computer skills and confidence working at high profile Council and community meetings will support you to work well under pressure.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a great sense of humour, resilience and political nous are essential.
**Salary Range: $51,500-$56,075**
