We’re looking for a Quality Coordinator to join our Quality team here in Aotearoa reporting to our Senior Quality Specialist. The role supports the quality function and as such there is an opportunity to work with both internal and external stakeholders across the business to deliver the FoodCo Quality requirements.
As the Quality Coordinator you will take accountability for providing key support to the team, particularly in its delivery of the Woolworths Quality Strategy ensuring that Woolworths has safe, compliant and quality products within specification for the customer. This will require the monitoring and collating of key quality information, enabling the team to make informed decisions around quality, compliance and emerging trends.
**About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
You will be responsible for:
- Preparing initial product specifications, liaising with suppliers.
- Reviewing testing documentation, collating and analysing data.
- Assisting with product reviews and new product approvals.
- Introducing new suppliers to our systems & processes
- Assisting the Quality Specialists to deliver category requirements from end to end Assisting in the management of customer complaints, including trending, supplier follow up & investigation
**About You | Mōu
**To succeed in this role you will have:
- Relevant Food Technology, Food Development, Chemical Degree or quality management experience or equivalent industry based qualification in a food technology or food safety related discipline.
- Have some experience in quality management in the food industry.
- Have a good understanding of the FSANZ food regulations
- You will have great organisational skills, be a good communicator with strong attention to detail
- The ability to work in a fast paced culture of change, able to prioritise project work
- The ability to manage, engage and influence internal/external stakeholders Problem Solving & excellent business Acumen, including analysing data and providing insights.
This role is Auckland based.
