The Public Service Fale is a business unit within Te Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission. The Fale is a public sector regional centre of excellence which supports 16 Public Service Commissioners to achieve their public sector strengthening priorities. We are a Pacific-led programme in that our priorities are set by the Pacific Public Service Commissioners', and we work closely with our strategic partner and funder the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade.

The Public Service Fale is looking for an Advisor to support delivery of travel. This includes outbound to support programme delivery in 16 Pacific countries, and inwards regarding visiting Pacific public service delegations.

In this role, the primary function is to support planning, coordination, and delivery of international travel for the Fale team and, supporting travel of visiting international delegations both to New Zealand and across the region as required.

To be successful in this role, you will need be able to demonstrate:

- Experience planning and booking international travel at scale i.e. for multiple parties travelling international borders.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience in corporate travel management (including familiarity with the SAVI platform).
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Experience working with senior public servants in a support role.
- The ability to prioritise what is important and deliver on it.
- An interest and willingness to serve the peoples of the Pacific.

This position usually pays between $79,619 to $97,644 depending on skills and experience.
