64 hours per fortnight (0.8 FTE)
- We are looking for a Kaiāwhina to be a valued Team member, focusing on delivering a whānau centred, Oral Health service.
- Is Whakawhanaungatanga important to you and key within your service delivery?
- Are you passionate about Kaupapa Māori, developing your cultural connection to Māori and supporting others to progress their journeys?
We're looking for a highly motivated, independent person with lots of energy, an outstanding communicator with the ability to build rapport quickly with any individual or group and be effective working as part of the Community Oral Health team. This position offers variety, challenges and learning experiences.
- It is essential you have the following skills:
- A passion, proven competence and ability to work with tamariki and their whānau
- A real interest in Oral Health and in contributing to the well-being of our Community
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people. Te Reo Māori would be an advantage.
- Experience working in the Community, with ability to build effective and positive relationships with key services including Te Kōhanga Reo, Early Childhood Providers, schools,
- Self motivated, innovative, flexible and able to work autonomously or as part of a team.
- A full current driver’s licence
