We have an exciting opportunity to join the Oral Health Leadership Team in Hawke's Bay. We have two positions are available, this one and a Team Coordinator (please see other listing).
Hawke's Bay District Health Board offers you the opportunity to extend your Professional skills while responding to the challenging oral health needs of our population. We have a dynamic service including Hospital Dental and Community Oral Health Services.

The new Professional lead / Educator role is an exciting initiative to meet the needs of our evolving service. Our service is committed to improving clinical services, improving oral health outcomes and addressing inequities.
**The successful applicant (s) for these roles will**:
Be motivated, skilled and committed Dental Therapists or Oral Health Therapists
Have great communication and proven leadership competencies
Have a pro-equity approach, with a strong cultural understanding
Have the ability to prioritise effectively
Have an ongoing commitment to providing an excellent service to the community
A knowledge of and recent experience with publicly delivered oral health services is a requirement.
As a Dental Therapist or Oral Health Therapist you will need to be eligible for registration in New Zealand, have up to date clinical skills and have a current driver's licence.
We are interested in discussing options should you wish to retain a clinical component within the Professional Lead / Educator role, recognising the position objectives could be fulfilled by two Individuals. The Team Coordinator has a clinical component.
