**About the Role**:
ANZCO Foods Manawatu have an opportunity for a Trainee Supervisor to join the business. This is an opportunity to take that next step in your career and be trained on the job. In this role you will work in with the processing supervisory team to ensure operating efficiencies are maximised and maintained within the department. The role will require you to be flexible in learning and working across a range of processes around the plant. This is a fulltime permanent position where you will report to a Senior Supervisor.

**Duties and Responsibilities will include**:

- Maximise yield recovery on all classes of stock
- Ensure operating efficiencies within the department are maximised
- Where applicable ensure effective packing of product to minimise claims
- Ensure Health and Safety and Injury Management is effectively managed
- Responsibility for pre
- and post-operative hygiene checks and results and ensure that QC programmes are maintained
- Ensure that Company Specifications are met at all times
- Ensure that MPI requirements are adhered to without exception
- Coordinate and direct employees in the department as required
- Constantly monitor project yields
- Ensure all production materials and labour are utilised in a cost-effective manner
- Complete employee timesheet records for payroll purposes
- Regularly report on matters where it is felt improvements may be made
- Liaise with Engineering department concerning maintenance
- Liaise with MPI and Asure Quality & MPI as required
- Complete daily reporting at the completion of each shift
