Clinical Nurse Specialist

Join our PARIS (Patient at risk of increased stay) Team

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic innovative, motivated and dynamic person who will be working as part of a multi-professional Team to support the smooth running and co-ordination of patient flow within our Hospital.

You will be responsible for assisting the Team with: early identification, individual management plans, strategies to increase patient safety, supporting safe and effective discharges, developing new policies, education and training to staff. You also will need to be proactive in identifying concerns or issues that may delay effective discharges and work with the Ward Teams to overcome and limit these.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse with demonstratable experience managing complex patients. Excellent communication and organisation skills are essential; and flexibility as the role involves day-to-day liaison with multi professional colleagues, patients and relatives. Thorough knowledge of the hospital values, policies, pathways and procedures is essential for this role.
