**About the Role**:
You will oversee the QA of the mechanical installation of pipe and ductworks on-site, ensuring adherence to specifications including sizing, material, access, seismic considerations, type, and labelling. Your daily tasks will include (but not limited to):

- Developing QA documents for client handover.
- Conducting assessments on Fire dampers' functionality.
- Addressing clashes or defects in pipe and ductwork through redesigns.
- Annotating drawings for redrafting.
- Ensuring project areas are completed and prepared for client handover.
- Potentially supporting commissioning activities during the commissioning period.
- This is a temporary role estimated to last approximately 1 year.

**About You**:
My client is seeking a driven Mechanical Engineer with a focus on Building Services, ideally with experience in commercial building projects. Flexibility and a willingness to learn are essential for this role. You will also bring with you:

- Strong communication abilities and a collaborative mindset.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Bluebeam, Revit, and Revizto.
- While a trade background is beneficial, it's not mandatory.
- This position requires a hands-on approach, suited for individuals comfortable with both on-site and office environments.
