Our client is a locally owned and operated, independent award winning residental property management company based in Dunedin.

The purpose of the Letting Agent & Assistant Property Manager is to assist the Property Manager with tasks required to rent properties and to maintain a portfolio of rental properties, identify new opportunities, and increase the portfolio.
The Assistant Property Manager role involves functions that directly impact occupancy and the physical property. The Assistant Property Manager will use established systems and procedures to support the Property Manager to maximize rental income and maintain the asset for property owners.
You will have high customer service & administration skills and will be working within a tight-knit team.
To be successful, you will be required to carry out administration, data entry, reporting and stakeholder engagement tasks with accuracy and within a timely manner in accordance with established systems and procedures, in order to maximize rental income and maintain the asset for property owners.

**Let's talk about the role**:
- Using various online digital platforms to schedule tasks, manage workflow, communicate with stakeholders in person, over the phone and online
- Assist with advertising property vacancies and promote and show properties to prospective tenants
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of market conditions and contribute to wider team, share knowledge and expertise
- Negotiate leases, prepare documentation for lease renewals, and prepare leases as approved by Landlords
