**About the Role**: As a Transport Refrigeration Engineer / Service Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the functionality and efficiency of refrigeration systems.
From diagnosing issues to performing installations, you'll be at the forefront of keeping vehicles running smoothly. This position offers the opportunity to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, utilizing your technical expertise and communication skills.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair refrigeration system issues in various vehicles.
- Replace defective components, including compressors, condensers, and evaporators.
- Charge refrigeration systems and ensure proper installation and servicing.
- Test and adjust system components for optimal performance.
- Perform regular maintenance to prevent breakdowns and extend system life.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic components.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and regulations.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Technical training or certification in refrigeration or related fields.
- Experience working with Thermo King or Carrier refrigeration systems.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Transport Refrigeration Engineer.
- Background in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and components.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license

- Working with Thermo King: 3 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Class 1 Driver Licence (preferred)
