**PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR**

**About the role**

We have an exciting opportunity for an entry level payroll professional to join our HR team. This is a role with real career advancement opportunities, supporting the payroll team who are responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for a workforce of more than 3,500 employees.

We’re looking for someone to start as soon as possible and who wants to forge a career in payroll.

Basic understanding and knowledge of NZ payroll-associated employment legislation (Holidays Act 20023, Wages Protection Act 1983 etc) is advantageous; however, payroll experience is not necessary as you will be trained in all aspects. This is a junior, entry level role so would suit someone just starting their career.

- Has excellent customer service skills
- Has accurate data entry skills
- Can manage competing deadlines and priorities
- Has intermediate to advanced capability of MS Excel (Formulas, Pivot tables etc)
- Is a quick learner and team player
- Strives for continuous improvement
