Tu Ora Compass Health is currently recruiting registered nurses to join our Community Health Service Team to provide vaccinations in the community. As a mobile team we are focussed on connecting with more Maori and Pacific people in their communities, homes and alongside General Practice to provide vaccinations and access to primary care.

If you have a special interest in providing care and support to people in the community as part of our extended primary health care team and are motivated to make a positive difference within our community, we want to hear from you.

In this role, you will work in partnership with person and their whanau / family and relevant health care providers/colleagues. Your agile way of working will see you providing care and support as needed. This will cover areas across childhood and adult vaccinations, cold chain, provide testing support (where required), and conducting clinical phone calls and home visits. A flexible approach is required due to the changing requirements of our health system.

**Role Requirements**:

- Registered Nurse with current Practicing Certificate and Authorised Vaccinator certification
- Current CPR Certificate to required level (or working towards)
- Excellence in clinical skills and clinical assessment
- Understanding of different communities and healthcare approaches
- Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
- Self-management and prioritisation skills
- Excellent relationship management, organisational, communication and problem solving skills
- Computer literate with competency in Microsoft Office software
- Hold a current clean driver's license.

The team works Monday - Saturday rostered on over the hours of 8.30 - 6pm. We have casual and fixed term roles available - part-time and full time, with immediate starts.
