As the Multimedia Reporter for Re: you will research, generate exclusive, fresh and/or compelling multimedia stories for editorial, branded, funded and internal content across all Re: platforms independently and as a team member.
- Generate original story ideas which connect with a young New Zealand audience
- Thoroughly research stories, find sources, foster contacts.
- Create editorial, funded, branded and internal content
- Bring creativity and innovation to storytelling to deliver information in a way that will resonate with
- Produce, film and edit video stories to a high publishable standard.
- Produce written articles and photo essays.
- Develop new story vehicles eg podcasts, graphics and social media generated stories.
- Maintain familiarity with issues and news that is of importance to young New Zealanders.
- Be curious, courageous and courteous when pursuing stories.
- Approach stories with sensitivity and awareness of different perspectives.
- Pitch for and create funded projects
- Operate by the Re: and TVNZ Rautaki Māori
- Contribute to Re:'s purpose of sparking an equitable and sustainable Aotearoa
