As a Boating Instructor, you will work in a team of boating specialists to facilitate the SAFE delivery of all NZDF Small Craft Training within the NZDF and RNZN.
You will also assist with updating instructional material to ensure it is up to date and conforms to all Maritime Regulatory authority standards.

We are seeking an experienced boating instructor with advanced knowledge and skills in:

- Handling power driven vessels, from tiller driven single propulsion to 24m twin propulsion vessels; Prior NZ Navy (or equivalent) boating experience (preferred).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain solid working relationships across a wide range of people.
- Good computer skills with particular proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and proven time management skills.

**Qualifications Required**:

- CBE Day Skipper, Boat Master & CIDMO Tutor.
- RYA Power Boat Level 2 Instructor.
- SRL endorsed to 24m.
- A Certificate in Adult Learning Level 4 or equivalent.
