Ko tā mātou mahi - Our Role
The Manager - Strategic Social Procurement is the Kaitiaki of Pā Harakeke, our Social and Sustainable Procurement Framework and leads the Team that enables social impact through public spend. In this role you'll lead and support a great team to influence and collaborate across Kāinga Ora and our partners who deliver social outcomes. You'll progress the implementation of our social impact reporting and advise across Kāinga Ora how we can most strategically make powerful and sustainable social and economic impact when we build, retrofit and maintain homes, in neighbourhoods and communities in across Aotearoa.
Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring
To be successful in this role the Manager - Strategic Social Procurement will have:

- 5+ years procurement experience (preferably including public sector)
- Social procurement expertise
- Experience working in a multi-faceted and demanding environment
- A tertiary qualification is preferred
- Excellent influencing, relationship management, coalition building and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability in planning, organising and implementing successful programmes
- The ability to use sound judgement and diplomacy when interacting and responding to different situations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of partnership obligations under the Treaty of Waitangi.
