We are looking for an enthusiastic Kaiāwhina to work on a permanent part time (0.8FTE) basis to provide client services across Hamilton

Our Kaiāwhina support healthy pēpē, tamariki, confident whānau and connected communities. It involves working with whānau Māori, focusing on identifying and enhancing whānau strengths and providing support with health promotion, health education within a variety of settings.

**Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**
- An understanding and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- Understands a Māori world view, and can connect with whānau Māori, hapu and iwi
- Great written and communication skills
- Has the confidence to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Committed to complete the National Certificate in Tamariki Ora - Well Child Services programme (funded).

We are a culturally diverse team consisting of Nurses, Kaiāwhina and Community Karitane (Health Workers) providing Tamariki Ora services across Hamilton City, Raglan, Ngāruawāhia, Taupiri, Huntly and Te Kauwhata.
