**Mō **te tūranga | About the Role**

Tasman House is located at the Hohepa Farm in Halswell, in this role you will be supporting Susan who enjoys many activities in the community such as arts and crafts, visiting local markets, horse riding and volunteering. Susan enjoys helping with cooking by preparing the vegetables and helping with the house chores. It is important for Susan to have a routine in place and consistency and being aware of any upcoming events in the community as she enjoys being apart the events

This position's salary scale is set by pay equity and dependant on qualification level, pays between $23.15 and $28.25 per hour.

Week One
- Wednesday 4pm to 10pm, 10pm to 7am (Sleepover)
- Thursday 7am to 9am, 4pm to 10pm, 10pm to 7am (Sleepover)
- Friday 7am to 9am
- Saturday 4pm to 10pm, 10pm to 7am (Sleepover)

Week Two
- Tuesday 4pm to 10pm, 10pm to 7am (Sleepover)
- Wednesday 7am to 9am, 4pm to 10pm, 10pm to 7am (Sleepover)
- Thursday 7am to 9am
- Saturday 7am to 4pm

Sleepover hours: 45 Hands on hours: 47

Total Hours per fortnight: 92

Your aroha and approach is what really matters at Hōhepa - previous experience is not a prerequisite because we provide on-the-job training. You will either be an experienced Support Worker looking for a change or you are simply looking for a career where your enthusiasm and passion for helping others will make a real difference in people’s lives.
