**Position Information**
Located on Auckland’s North Shore and reporting to the VP of Delivery - Hardware, this role will be involved in developing hardware designs and helping to lead and architect product design. Ensuring we develop high quality, robust and innovative products. Working closely and collaboratively with the Chief Engineer, Functional Leads and a wide range of SMEs, you will ensure our solutions are technically superior and are delivered in a smooth fashion which exceed customer expectation.
Key Responsibilities include:

- Technical leadership, project ownership, and mentoring.
- Product / System Engineering
- Engineering Validation (planning and support)
- Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Continuous Improvement

**About You**
To be successful in this role you will have held senior positions in Mechanical or Electrical design and manufacturing or product testing environments. A strong understanding of Mechanical, Electrical and Firmware systems at the product level are key to your success. The following experience is desired:

- 5+ years’ experience in a senior engineering, team lead or product ownership role
- Project or team leadership & coordination
- Solid understanding of mass production processes & environments
- Solid understanding of design and manufacture of components such as: plastic injection moulding, sheet metal forming/bending, and die castings and PCB manufacture and assembly
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical/Electronic or Mechatronics Engineering
