Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a new challenge? We are currently seeking an HR Advisor for an 8-month fixed term contract, full-time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hour weeks.

As an HR Advisor, you will work closely with our clients HR team to provide support to their Nelson, Christchurch, and Queenstown teams on a range of HR activities, including employee relations, graduate recruitment, and performance management. You will also work closely with the Partners and the wider organisation to provide guidance and support on HR-related issues.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong generalist HR experience, including knowledge of employment law and best practice HR processes. You will also need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide support on various HR activities, including employee relations, graduate recruitment, and performance management
- Work closely with the clients HR team to ensure compliance with employment law and best practice HR processes
- Provide guidance and support to the Partners on HR-related issues
- Collaborate with the wider team to achieve team goals

**Requirements**:

- Strong generalist HR experience with the ability to offer advice and guidance to the junior members of the HR team
- Knowledge of employment law and best practice HR processes ideally with a broad range of exposure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build strong relationships with a large and diverse workforce
