We are currently seeking an experienced **Technical Lead **based in **Auckland **to become an integral part of our National Team.

Our National Planning team work on a wide range of exciting, often multi-disciplinary, projects that will shape the future of our communities including nationally significant infrastructure projects, policy development, strategic planning and place-making.

Some projects and clients our planners are currently working with include Let’s Get Welly Moving, policy work for the Ministry for the Environment and Greater Wellington Regional Council, New Zealand Defence Force estate regeneration, and infrastructure consenting for Auckland Council, Auckland Transport and the Ministry of Education. We are also working with local and regional councils throughout the country on policy development and structure plans, disaster recovery, as well as stormwater and wastewater upgrade projects. Additionally, we have a growing workload in the renewable energy sector.

**This exciting opportunity will see you**:

- Be the technical lead for small to medium projects (senior) or large, complex projects (technical lead), overseeing all phases of the project.
- Undertake technical reviews of project deliverables.

**What you will bring to the team**:

- Tertiary qualified with 10 to 15 years of experience in environmental, urban or policy planning.
- Full Membership of the NZPI (or eligibility to work towards this)
- Proven technical planning record in regional council, local council or private sector planning including in the consenting of infrastructure projects and dealing with a range of national, regional and district consenting matters.
- A comprehensive understanding of the New Zealand planning system and relevant legislation, as well as local and regional council resource management documents.
