Workshop Foreman

40-50 hours per week
- Permanent postion based in Hastings
- Competitive starting rate depending on experience

We are looking for a Workshop Foreman to become a pivotal part of our client's mechanical division in a their well established company.

Our client's business has been manufacturing for over 40 years in specialised machinery for the horticulture, industrial and viniculture sectors. They produce a quality product that is supplied to customers throughout the world and is based here in the stunning Hawkes Bay.

**What you will be doing**:
You will require a hands on approach to ensure the smooth daily running of maintenance tasks, personnel and equipment. This is a diverse and varied role and will involve duties that require you to be responsible for investigating, diagnosing and performing maintenance and repairs to a wide variety of machinery, be prepared to take responsibility, be of a thorough nature, able to manage pressure, communicate well with staff and customers.

**Ideal skills & experience**:

- Experience with repairs and maintenance of petrol and diesel engines
- Be conversant with the operation and diagnostics of Hydraulics / Electrical / Electronic systems and interpretation of relevant schematics
- Experience with being able to lead, manage and motivate staff
