Our client is a top performing volume brand dealership in Hastings offering full services and they are after either a skilled, senior technician or, more preferable, an experienced Workshop Foreman for their service department.

**The role**
As the Workshop Foreman, you will assist senior service staff in running the service department to the best of its ability.

Among other relevant responsibilities, you will attend meetings, check the work of technicians, help to train technicians, liaise with other relevant departments e.g. parts, adhere to healthy and safety requirements, as well as perform any other duties relevant to your role.

**The skills we seek**
- You must be a trade qualified automotive technician with prior, proven experience servicing, repairing, and maintaining light passenger vehicles, preferably on Asian vehicle brands
- Solid technical proficiency is important as you will be a senior technician/Foreman running the workshop
- Prior supervisory/staff management experience
- Franchise brand training is highly desirable
- Good diagnostics skills and computer literacy
- Clear and fluent communication skills
- Good work ethic
- Team player
- Clean and current NZ driver's licence
