An exciting opportunity now exists to join our New Vehicle team as a Forecast Analyst - Supply & Demand at our Head Office in Palmerston North.

Reporting directly to the Associate Manager - New Vehicle Supply & Demand Planning, this role will see you responsible for supporting Toyota New Zealand’s current and future new vehicle inventory planning through analysis of internal and external data to support the development of their inventory strategy. This role will see you working closely with the Management team to provide insights and recommendations on inventory next steps to support the achievement of the department and wider company objectives.

To be successful in this role you will need to be the type of person who is able to think on their feet and adapt to change. You will love delving deep into data and then using your findings to provide insights and recommendations. Your excellent interpersonal skills will see you able to communicate both internally and externally with ease.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Analysis of vehicle demand and market conditions to determine future planning actions- Taking responsibility for the oversight and management of New Vehicle Supply- Ensuring that stock levels are relative to demand- Monitoring sales activity to identify key trends- Preparing data and key insights for presentation at key stakeholder meetingsWe pride ourselves on our people so to be successful in the role you will need:

- Strong Microsoft Excel skills- The ability to thrive in a busy environment and meet tight deadlines- Excellent communication skills- The willingness and desire to learn and continuously improve- Previous experience (3-4 years) in a Senior Planning Position (inventory management, supply/demand, accounting, or data analyst) is advantageousSo who are we?
