**THE ROLE**
- Ventia have an opportunity for an experienced and fully qualified Electrical Cable Jointer to join their team in Rotorua- This role will be working mostly on the local distribution network in the Bay of Plenty, along with various private networks. You will be doing HV/LV work including installation and maintenance of network substations and underground assets. The jointing will consist of HV(11KV)/LV XLPE/PILCA jointing along with the occasional live LV jointing and termination work.**ABOUT YOU**
- To be successful in this role you will need to have a strong focus on safety and prevention, a commitment to work and a career, job ownership and the ability to be self-motivating; organized, methodical, and a team player.**Requirements for this role**:

- Hold a qualification for cable jointing.
- Have an EWRB registration and hold a practicing licence.
- Experience in jointing PILC and XLPE/PILCA up to and including 11KV
- Have a comprehensive knowledge of electrical theory and electrical testing
- Ability to understand electrical diagrams and plans
- Be willing to multi-task
- Hold a current full Class 1 Drivers license
