**Āu Mahi | What You Will Do**

The role of the Health and Safety Coordinator is to support the Health and Safety Team to implement and improve the University's health and safety management system.

Working collaboratively, this role will be a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, administering health and safety processes and coordinating day-to-day health and safety activities, including administration and maintenance of the health and safety reporting system, document control, and reporting, assisting with designing, developing, and implementing policies, projects, and processes that support the University's Health and Safety strategies.

**Mōu | Who You Are**
You have experience in an administration or coordination role. You don't need to have previous health and safety experience but need to be willing to learn to build the necessary knowledge.

You must be proficient in using a range of systems and have experience maintaining databases, producing reports, presenting graphics, and developing spreadsheets.

You ideally have experience with business reporting and can understand and interpret data.

With the team being busy out in the business, it's important that you are an effective communicator, proactive and organised to keep the team tracking in the right direction.
