**Role Overview**
As a Vulnerability Engineer, you will play a crucial role in identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities across our client's Windows OS, Intune, and Server & Application security landscape. Your expertise will be instrumental in fortifying the bank's security posture and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Mitigation Planning**: Develop and implement comprehensive mitigation plans to address identified vulnerabilities, ensuring timely resolution.
- **Security Patch Management**: Manage and coordinate the deployment of security patches and updates, minimizing vulnerabilities and exposure.
- **Security Compliance**: Ensure adherence to industry security standards and regulatory requirements, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- **Incident Response**: Participate in the incident response process, providing expertise in identifying and mitigating security incidents and breaches.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of vulnerabilities, assessments, and remediation efforts, contributing to the knowledge base.
- **Security Awareness**: Promote security awareness and best practices across the organisation.
**What You’ll Need to Succeed**
- **Security Expertise**: In-depth knowledge of security vulnerabilities, threat landscape, and best practices in mitigating security risks.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Familiarity with security tools and technologies used for vulnerability assessment and mitigation.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- **Certifications**: Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH) will be an advantage.
