Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi is a vibrant and exciting tertiary education institution which offers a range of programmes from certificates to doctorates across a range of disciplines.
We are seeking a full time Accounts Payable Administrator to join our friendly and efficient Finance team.
The focus of this role is to process supplier invoices and credits, reconcile outstanding purchase orders, enter data into the finance system and resolve queries from suppliers, vendors and staff.
This position would suit someone with:
- 1-2 year’s administration experience with knowledge of accounts payable procedures and processes
- Data entry experience
- Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Office
- Good communication skills, both written and oral
- Attention to detail
- Results orientation
- Customer focus
- A full clean driver’s licence.
Being well-organised and able to work under pressure are necessary along with flexibility and great interpersonal skills. Knowledge of tikanga Māori and the ability to korero Te Reo Māori to at least a basic level with a willingness to upskill are desirable.
