**About the opportunity**:
Our Surfacing crew in Dunedin is rapidly growing with plenty of exciting projects to work on. We have opportunities for experienced and newcomer Asphalt Surfacing Workers to join the fun, dedicated, and supportive team where you will get to grow your skill set with a variety of work whilst also having a good time with the team.

You will enjoy spending your work days outdoors and you don't mind putting in the mahi. This role will literally take you places as you will get to travel Southland, Central Lakes, and Otago, building your career with us. All your travel, accommodation, meals, and overtime allowances will be covered - do the mahi, get the treats

Day to day, you will undertake the preparation, laying, and finishing of asphalt pavements -from small maintenance patches, subdivision access ways, all the way through to state highway carriageway resurfacing. You will also get the opportunity to operate a range of asphalt machinery including trucks, pavers, skidsteers, rollers, and more. We have the best gear on the market and more shiny new toys on the way.

**About you**:
Committed to championing safe work practices and a team player, we also expect that you will bring with you:
A minimum class 1 full New Zealand Drivers License

Previous experience working with Asphalt is preferred but not essential

Class 2,4,5 and WTR endorsements are also desired, but we can help you with this

A love for fitness, as this work will require you to carry out hands on activities such as shovelling, digging, lifting, periods of walking and standing

A can-do attitude
