**Key Account Manager**
Being a Key Account Manager involves creating, developing, enhancing, and assisting relationships with key customers. You will work with Management and other staff to implement effective sales strategies designed to maximise sales and profitability along with other potential opportunities within the Branch, Region, or Group for success.
Your role is to represent the Company at the highest level externally and internally while strongly assisting the Management Team and mentoring others.
**Key Relationships**:
The Key Account Manager will work closely with and maintain strong positive relationships with:
- Group Managers
- Managers
- Branch & Sales staff
- All customer contacts
- New & potential business and clients
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assisting in achievement of annual budgeted sales targets and margins
- Assisting management in leadership, mentoring and client interaction
- Management of allocated accounts and creation of new potentials
- Maximizing sales and profitable opportunities across the group as a whole
- Maximizing sales potential of any designated clients allocated to the role
- Consistent contact with key decision makers and prospects
- Identifying new opportunities that align with strategic planning
**Key Accountabilities Include**:
- Developing and assisting with all sales strategies
- Setting sales goals, analyzing data on past performance, and projecting future performance
- Enhance, encourage, and develop the Redpaths Workmate brand and associated tools with combinations of training and selling out. Achievement of sales budgets K.P.I’s and targets
- Ensure systems are in place identifying new potential customers and opportunities and volumes
- Ensure timely effective answers and solutions for all clients, management and staff
- Support all marketing initiatives, products, development and sales activities
- Drive solid customer service attitude through the staff, branches, and regions
- Compliment and assist with the overall Group strategic goals.
- Ensuring the sales channel works cross functionally with other channels. (For example, they collaborate with marketing to generate new lead sources and expand the target customer base, or with product and technology teams to make sure customer needs are met)
- Complete, correct and appropriate use of systems tools including tasks associated with these
- Any additional tasks deemed necessary by your direct report

- Ability to build relationships with peers, cross-functional counterparts, and management
- Commitment to helping others be successful
- Ability to unite a team under a shared vision and know what motivates each member
- Understanding clearly pricing, margins, and discounting impacts
- The ability to prioritize and effectively manage time to deadlines and under pressure
- Working knowledge of E.R.P system, Microsoft Office 365 tools, Workmate and BambooHR
- Ability to communicate effectively to a wide range of internal/external contacts and the appropriate business channels.
